This year, the village has integrated its resource, and actively explored the “family farm” business model through land zoning and leasing, creating a real-life version of “QQ Farm” to explore a new path for industrial development, and promote integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism.
The “QQ Farm” covers an area of about 1.5 mu (0.1 hectares) and is divided into 88 small vegetable gardens. Citizens living in Huayuan county can apply for these vegetable gardens, with a rent of 109 yuan per year.
To better manage the “small vegetable gardens”, they can plant by themselves or entrust it to the village.
The village cooperative will arrange villagers to use farm manure, hand weeding, and ecological insect hunting techniques to manage them according to ecological planting principles. Farmers can learn about the planting, management, and growth of their “small vegetable gardens” through micro videos at any time.
Or, the farm owners can bring their families to plant together on weekends and holidays, experience the fun of farming, and reap the fruits of their labor.
QQ Farm not only allows urban residents to have their own rural vegetable gardens, but also brings income to the village collective and villagers.
The farm is expected to bring tens of thousands of yuan in income for the village collective every year, and it will attract tourists to visit, eat and stay in the village, purchase agricultural and sideline products, which can effectively help villagers expand channels for income growth.
“QQ Farm” has multiple functional areas such as rural experience area, leisure and entertainment area, and fruit picking area, providing a leisure and entertainment venue for residents who live in the city, to get close to nature, experience rural life, and promote parent-child interactions.
In the future, the village will vigorously develop rural leisure tourism and rural experience tourism to extend the industrial chain, promoting the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism, and contributing to rural revitalization.
